Our Story
CSI Ministries exists to bring people closer to christ through short-term missions.
For over 50 years, CSI Ministries has helped churches, schools, universities, families, and individuals step into missions together — not as tourists or task-completers, but as partners in the Gospel.
What began as a short-term mission team ministry has grown into something deeper: a commitment to presence over performance, people over projects, and long-term transformation over quick fixes. We still send teams — and we still believe in the power of those experiences. But not as the end goal. For us, they’re the front door to something bigger.
We create space for people to encounter Christ — both those who go and those who receive. Every mission trip becomes a discipleship opportunity: preparing hearts beforehand, shaping lives on the ground, and unpacking what God did once the team returns home. It’s not about what we bring — it’s about how we show up.
On the ground, we partner with local churches and community leaders in places like Jamaica, Belize, and beyond. Together, we share the redeeming Gospel of Jesus Christ and respond to real needs — not as outsiders with answers, but as fellow believers walking alongside. Our role is to equip, support, and serve in ways that increase the local church’s impact in their own community.
At CSI, we’re not building our own kingdom. We’re joining in God’s. And whether it’s a construction site, a prayer circle, a home visit, or a late-night debrief with a team, our mission remains the same:
Bringing people closer to Christ through short-term missions.
CSI Ministries was founded with a simple but powerful conviction: short-term mission teams can make a long-term impact, when rooted in relationship, not just projects.
For decades, we’ve sent teams across North America, Jamaica, Belize, Guatemala, and beyond. What started as construction projects and disaster relief has grown into something deeper: a movement of presence, partnership, and people over performance.
We still believe in the power of a week-long mission trip. But not as the finish line, as the starting point.
Our teams build more than structures. They build bridges between cultures, churches, and communities. And in the process, both those who go and those who receive are transformed. That’s the work God invites us into.
Today, CSI is about more than just trips. It’s about testimony. About showing up consistently. About walking with local leaders year-round. About forming the kind of Gospel-rooted relationships that last long after the plane ride home.
We exist to bring people closer to Christ through short-term missions, not by doing more, but by being present in the places God calls us. That’s our story. And it’s still being written.
